Buddhist Healthy Boundaries, created by Buddhist teachers for Buddhist teachers, is grounded in the fundamental Buddhist teachings of wisdom and compassion and their relational and ethical applications in spiritual communities. That is the essence of our Buddhist Healthy Boundaries course, which aims to help Buddhist leaders create and maintain safe and healthy communities.
Our online course provides Buddhist leaders with the tools and knowledge to understand the importance of healthy boundaries in spiritual communities and to critically discern the complexities of boundaries, power and vulnerability in spiritual teacher-student relationships. The course also addresses practices for responding to misconduct by spiritual teachers as well as the importance of self-care and peer support as preventive measures. Group Zoom sessions with the instructors, online discussions with fellow participants and the on-demand, self-paced video and reading curriculum offer each participant an interactive and enriching learning environment.
